being MVP: ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I am fulltime working mama to a wonderful girl - Mackenzie Vesper Pyo (Kenzie for short).  We actually had a boy name picked out when finding out the sex of our child so Hubs came up with Vesper (from the James Bond movie) and we worked around that cool name.  Bean 2 has arrived and he took the name we had picked out for Kenzie... Mason.  We were tossing around several middle names to give him cool initials and eventually ended up with Vincent so he's MVP as well!

Trying to balance work and taking care of the family is rather difficult but I am enjoying finding other bloggers who are handling the situation just fine. I love reading blogs, entering contests and dreaming about moving into a real house with a large backyard and walk-in closet (I would like something similar to Carrie's in the Sex & the City movie please).

Will I become like the "Tiger Mom"... it's a wait and see game.

I'm currently a paralegal being hounded by my mama and boss to take the bar again.  Yes I said it...again.  We'll see.  In the meantime, it's tough working a full day then rushing home to pick up the kids from school/grandma's, homework, dinner, etc.

The kids have definitely grown up since the beginning of the blog - Kenzie is now entering 1st grade (smartie pants) and Mason is enjoying preschool.

I'm also a LuLaRoe consultant - woot woot! It's a fun journey where I've had the chance to meet wonderful customers and friends along the way while outfitting them in comfortable clothing. Check out #RoeWithPyo on my Instagram

  13. It is tough to balance work and life at home. If you were to study for a bar again, then you would need someone to take care of the baby full time. Can your hubbie do that?

  30. Hi, nice to meet you. I'm also inspired by you to start blogging again. If you can do it working as a paralegal, then I can do it as a SAH/homeschooling mom. I have a few more kiddos than you do but still... if I apply myself it can be done. :)

  31. Nice to meet you! I know what you mean about tiny spaces and walking all those flights of stairs! I had an apartment like that in S.Korea. I too dream of owning a home with a huge yard! Maybe one day we will both get what we want- and that closet thing- probably wont happen :P
