While we get wrapped up in all the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, we tend to forget the main purpose: to give. Why not combine the task of checking off your holiday gift list with meaningful contributions to world wide charities with the World Vision Gift Catalog.
The 2016 World Vision Gift Catalog contains over 250 poverty-fighting gifts. The catalog is filled with gorgeous and intricate handcrafted items made by artisan around the world ranging from $16 to $39,000. The money raised from your purchase goes to the Where Most Needed fund, which supports a variety of World Vision’s programs around the world. This holiday season the catalog features a gorgeous Tree of Life Votive holder made in India as well as a Turquoise Medallion Necklace and a beautiful Royal Silk Scarf.
Not only are the products created to help rid the world of poverty, but they are made with wonderful detail and quality proving to be an incredible gift to anyone. Not only do you feel good about your purchase, but gift receivers are able to enjoy a wonderful product knowing helped a community across the world that needed it. Local artisans and nations across the world help create these wonderful products to work themselves out of poverty. Each piece is handmade with intricate design and workmanship.
Since 1996, the World Vision Gift Catalog has grown in popularity and just last year, over 650,000 people were helped through the funds that the Catalog generated. To learn more about how funds are used, check out this video from World Vision to learn more: https://youtu.be/VODK55tS2XA

We try to teach our girls it's very important to donate to a good cause or someone who needs help. It doesn't always have to be money, your time is precious to some people just by lending a shoulder or ear to lean on! I have my girls helping a local foundation this year, the Hope Foundation in Utah. We are trying to gather things from friends and neighbors all the things they need.
