WinterFest Is Coming to Orange County + #Giveaway @winterfestoc #WinterFestOC

There is something incredibly magical about the winter season that makes me feel warm and cozy and even though I live in Southern California I look forward to all the winter experiences especially playing in snow. With two little ones to tote around, it gets to be a little difficult to travel far to give them the same memories I have of traveling far and wide to experience genuine snowfall and all the fun cold activities. With neither of them having experienced a true winter, I’m excited to take them to Winterfest this year located about 20 minutes from home!

Winterfest OC features outdoors ice-skating, snow play with real snow blown in every day, ice tubing, snowfall and even a snowboard simulator. I love ice-skating and an outdoor rink is amazing to enjoy with the kids. All the things I never dreamed my kids could enjoy in southern California are all available with tickets beginning at just $10. Unlike other winter setups, Winterfest OC has it all to entertain people of every age with arcade games, train exhibits, bounce houses and cartoon character shows. Winterfest OC truly captures the essence of both winter and the magical spirit of Christmas with craft making in Santa’s workshop, Nightly Christmas Tree Lighting, Santa taking flight, reading by Mrs. Claus and the world’s largest rocking horse.

My favorite memory during Christmas time was how my dad would bundle us all up every Christmas Eve Night and take us for a drive to see all the beautifully decorated homes all lit up. My brother and I would stare in awe of all the homes especially the streets that had multiple homes lit up and then we would rank our favorites for the night. Winterfest OC allows me to bring this experience to my children with their Festival of Lights. I can walk through a 2 million light-illuminated pathway and enjoy 10 holiday themed lands. I can’t wait to see my kids experience the spectacular scene and stare with awe the way I did as a child.

It’s an amazing experience for everyone to enjoy and create lasting memories and it’s a great way to celebrate the wonders of winter and Christmas all together.
