2016 America’s Better Sandwich Contest + $25 Visa Gift Card & Oroweat Coupons #Giveaway #BetterSandwich

Disclosure: The coupons for product redemption, information, and gift card have been provided by Oroweat® Bread.

Better living is very important for my family. One of the things I look for when grocery shopping is wholesome products that my kids will enjoy anytime. Oroweat products are a key component of our daily lifestyle.

I love the Oroweat Sandwich Thins for myself and my kids love the Sliced Breads, especially the Sweet Hawaiian. They have 2 to 5 grams of fiber per slice or thin with zero grams of trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup and are cholesterol free. I love the high fiber it offers and that it is made with 100% whole grains with only 80 calories per serving. It’s recommended that we consume 48 grams of whole grains per day as well as 25-38 grams of fiber. With Oroweat I feel confident that my family is provided a good source for meeting their nutritional needs.

2.  Place banana slices on top of one side.
3.  Drizzle honey and sprinkle chia seeds on top.
4.  Place other side of bread on top and then slice to enjoy!

Oroweat Bread has made wholesome eating even more fun by launching their 2016 America’s Better Sandwich Contest where the contestant whose filing matches the goodness of Oroweat will win a grand prize of $25,000. Simply submit your best sandwich recipe, which includes any of the Oroweat Sliced Breads.

This year’s contest features five categories:

Open-Faced Artistry” (sandwiches are works of art for the world to see, and these snacks and meals should announce their nutritious ingredients—like bright beets or tasty tuna— sans second slice);

“Breakfast in Bread” (these sandwiches, featuring nutrient rich breakfast favorites like eggs and yogurt, invoke images of cozy mornings in bed or boisterous brunches with friends);

“Creative Classics” (nutritious spins on sandwich creations that have stood the test of time, such as grandma’s club sandwich, BLT or other old-time favorites);

“Fueling Good”  (these sandwiches should incorporate ingredients that help boost your energy such as healthful fats, protein, fiber and iron)

“State Favorites” (whether it’s a well-known sandwich in the state you reside, or a must-have local dish that can transition into a sandwich, celebrate your state pride by re-creating these state favorites with better-for-you ingredients)

The recipe in each category with the highest score will win $5000. Entries are being accepted until August 21st and voting will begin September 26th thru October 23rd. Winners will be announced on National Sandwich Day on November 3rd.  Additionally, Oroweat is spreading goodwill by donating a loaf of bread to Feeding America for each valid entry and vote received so be sure to help America and cast your submissions and votes. For more information check out the program terms and conditions at http://www.americasbettersandwich.com/.

One Winner will Receive:
