Natural Milk Alternatives with a2 Milk® + White Chocolate Fruity Pebbles Cookies Recipe #a2Milk #IC #ad

This post was sponsored by a2 Milk® as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.

I was raised consuming dairy and drinking milk was an integral part of our daily meals. Naturally, when my husband and baby weren’t able to tolerate milk well, I was surprised because neither appears to be lactose intolerant. After talking to more people and researching into the issues I learned there are many people with the same reactions. In fact one study revealed that 1 in 4 Americans have discomfort after consuming milk, but only 5-7% of the population has been diagnosed with a lactose intolerance condition. In my search for alternatives for my family including trying soy milk, almond milk and even rice milk, I discovered a2 Milk®, which has surpassed its competitors.

When I first learned about the issues and having to cut milk out of our diet, I was saddened to think that so many little things in life that would be missed: homemade milkshakes, milk and cookies after school and even the simple leaving milk and cookies out for Santa. I quickly turned to alternatives, but found that even those would leave my family with tummy troubles.

a2 Milk® is pure farm fresh milk designed for people who experience stomach aches or Post-Dairy Digestive Discomfort. The a1 protein seems to be the problematic ingredient found in all conventional and organic milks on the U.S. market. a2 Milk® comes from specially selected cows that only produce a2 protein. It is the pure replacement to chemically processed alternatives. a2 Milk® contains about 6 times the amount of calcium as soy drinks, about 8 times the protein of almond beverages and 6 times the potassium of rice based beverages. Packed with healthy nutrients that my growing family needs, I am so happy that I no longer have to resort to inferior products or cut milk out entirely.

White Chocolate Fruity Pebbles Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package of Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • 1 cup of White Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1.5 sticks of butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
Directions

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.  Line cookie sheet with Silpat or parchment paper.
3.  Cream together butter and sugar.
4.  Add the pudding mix and beat until well blended.

5.  Add eggs and vanilla extract.
6.  Slowly add the flour and baking soda and mix.
7.  Add in the Fruity Pebbles and White Chocolate Chips.
8.  Make round balls and flatten and place on cookie sheet. Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
9.  Cool and enjoy!

While other milk products that I tried were okay I found that some had a different taste or created other allergy issues with my children that made them to be substandard substitutions. a2 Milk® doesn’t upset my family’s tummies or have other reactions and has the cleanest taste without flavoring much like conventional form. The kids gulped it up and asked for seconds and even thirds for Kenzie - they polished off the entire carton within 3 days which is unheard of in our household.

With a2 Milk® I have a chance to experience the simple pleasures of being a kid with my children with a simple glass of milk and cookies. It’s the most natural alternative and worth looking into as more studies reveal issues that have gone by undiagnosed. The kids are definitely fans and we have found our new milk to enjoy on the daily!
