Disclosure: I received the following for review. All opinions are my own.
I can't believe that it's been a year since we last had family photos. I told myself that I wanted to do them more often but time just flew by this year. Next year! I'm so happy that the kids were outfitted in Toobydoo again because I just love their collections. We headed to the Disney Hall in LA and goofed off, posed a bit, hiked some stairs and then ended with some delish pies for lunch.
The classic Americana colors of blue and red was again featured this year. Maybe I've switch it up next year :) Since Kenzie just loves dresses so the Federica paired with Grey/Side Stripe leggings was my pick for her. Mason wanted some jeans just like daddy so he's got on the Mercer jeans with Hudson zip sweater with Ship Ahoy baseball shirt underneath. It's nice that they color coordinate perfectly without looking too matchy matchy. Hubs and I went simple with shades of blue to match them. Yes I first select the kids' outfits then ours!
They both had a blast running around, playing and making silly faces at our photographer. The Toobydoo clothes are stylish yet comfortable and can be worn for play, adventures and outings. They wash beautifully without any sort of fading or pilling.
The weather has been quite interesting recently. It's a tshirt and shorts day and then turns into a coat and sweatpants day. Layering seems to be the trick because one minute the kids will be chilly and the next sweaty. Toobydoo's skinny jeans were a bit large on Kenzie (I selected size 6 because she is outgrowing size 5) but a quick fold of the hem and cinching of the waist and she was ready to go with the fun Marilyn tee and Cameron flannel shirt on top.
The fleece lined jeans for boys is amazing. Even on the chilliest of days your little one can look stylish while staying cozy without bulky pants. The denim wash is on trend and Mason didn't want to get out of these. The adjustable waist is always a nice feature for young tots because they are ever growing and you want to keep them comfortable while not having to purchase new pairs at every growth spurt or slimming down. Hubs wears flannel and plaid shirts quite often and Mason has lately been aware of what "daddy wears" and wants to imitate. The Brooklyn is one of my favorites: super soft and cozy flannel in the ever popular buffalo plaid print. Just slip the Robbie lightweight hooded sweater on top and he's off on an adventure. The ribbed waist and cuff allow Mason to stay warm and I don't have to worry (as much) about him "dirtying it up".
Toobydoo's collection of sweaters is awesome for California weather because they can be tossed on top of a tee and shorts during the Spring as well as layered on top of long sleeves in the "Winter". No matter what State you live in make sure to check out Toobydoo for your holiday photos and gifting!
