Disclosure: I received the following for review. All opinions are my own.
It’s that time of the year that I’ve begun searching for the perfect gifts for all my loved ones and even gifts from “Santa.” My son loves to do things just like daddy does so I couldn’t resist when I saw the Home Depot Pro Play Workshop & Utility Bench by Step2.
The Workshop and Utility Bench is a great way for my son to engage in creative play with his imagination and bond with daddy as he builds things. Using it to assemble birdhouses and other realistic wooden structures is a great way to develop his fine motor skills and my son enjoys the finished products.
The pull out utility bench expands and has a table saw with additional storage. Keeping the 76-piece accessory set organized and clean is easy with all the storage bins and cabinet space. It even has a pegboard just like daddy’s garage to allow him to hang his tools and when playtime is over it’s a great storage place. I love that it has a little utility sink just like we do at home, but also a great way to remind my little one to wash after working with our tools just like I keep trying to teach daddy.
The electronic drill is a favorite and my little guy is able to “drill” a perfect hole each time. The drill and nail holes are molded-in to the top of the workshop giving him the opportunity to practice hand-eye coordination as well as improving his fine motor skills. The kids take this drill around everywhere - we need two of them!
It’s a great toy for little ones over the age of three with easy assembly for parents. I love how much creativity my little one is able to use while developing his skills. The Workshop is a great size for little ones to play together and share in the fun of building things together. Kenzie was a pro at building an entire basket of random things and giving them some awesome names :: can you guess what this is?
I love how many different accessories and pieces it comes with making sure my kids never gets bored. They seriously play with this for hours and I love it! It’s the perfect addition to our home and the perfect gift sure to light up any little face.
