Tiny Love Soothe 'n Groove Mobile and Double Sided Crib Toy + #Giveaway

Disclosure: My friend Rita received the following for review. All opinions are her own.

As parents we are constantly seeking out what we need to do to help our children grow and develop and reach their full potential as early as birth. With newborns I firmly believe that it is important that we do what we can to bond with them and develop their skills during that time.  However, I can only do so much on my own and like most other parents I rely heavily on toys and products to help my baby grown and develop. Results from a recent survey made me realize that I am very much like most other parents. Almost 80% of parents use toys while on the go, which is more than snacks, videos and pacifiers so toys are a very important part of our lives and finding the right one is essential.

How do we choose the right toy? Survey says that almost half of parents look for product reviews and blogs to find information on baby products. Knowing that other parents have tried the product and hearing their loves and hates makes the decision much simpler. Additionally 71% of respondents purchase a toy based on its developmental value. I always look for the value that toys provide in helping my children grow and I have come to love Tiny Love for these reasons. Tiny love products are great for all stages and their products are designed to enhance your baby’s development during their first few years.

Even though newborns can’t always do much, it’s essential that they are stimulated and properly assisted to help them develop different motor and mental skills. I think mobiles are very important in a baby’s development. There are many mobiles you can buy and quite honestly before I looked into anything I was simply looking for something that matched my baby’s room. After reading and learning more I realized that Tiny Love has captured the needs of a baby and a parent in developing their mobiles. They have a large variety of styles and concepts but none of them sacrifice the essential developmental skills attained by a baby.

The Soothe ‘n Groove Mobile Safari is a wonderful mobile that I was excited to set up and use. First of all I love the design and look of this mobile. It’s gender neutral and has vivid colors and patterns that appeal to my baby and me. It plays 40 minutes of non-repeatable music and carries 18 different tunes. The Tiny Love Mobile has a unique patented movement that rotates each animal and the entire mobile as well. This is an incredible mobile to help your baby develop their focus, hand eye coordination, color, movement and shape recognition.

When I received it, I thought I was going to need a lot of tools and time to assemble this to the crib, but shockingly it came with easy to follow instructions and only needed a Philips screw driver to install the batteries. It took about 5 minutes to put the pieces together and have it in use for my baby.

I love all the details and features that Tiny Love put into this mobile. It has 6 different musical categories including a world music button, which I love playing for my daughter. The great part is that you don’t have to listen to only one melody at a time, Tiny Love has incorporated a music shuffle button so you can let it randomly select and switch the melodies during its playtime. The speakers are very clear and have an adjustable volume switch. Aside from developing all the essential skills, the mobile is very soothing and my baby is very calm and happy when looking at her new mobile.

Tiny Love truly took into account both parents’ desires and a baby’s need in their design. They recognize that a dangling mobile is only useful to about 6 months, at which point it’s recommended that you take dangling objects off of the crib. Thus, the Soothe ‘n Groove has a removable arm. When you are ready to help your baby move on to the next stage, this mobile can be converted to ta music box that she can play with in the crib or one that they can later carry around with them.

Mobiles are a great traditional toy for your kid, but Tiny Love has also developed a unique double sided crib toy to help stimulate as well as soothe your baby. When I received this product I quickly understood why it was the winner of the innovation award for baby toys. Like most of the Tiny Love products, it easily can be fit to any crib shape, but it’s lightweight nature also makes it perfect for play yards making it convenient for travel. I’m very excited that I don’t have to take multiple toys and can have an easy product that I can take to entertain and sooth my daughter anywhere I go.

Clipped to the side of a crib, one side is a perfect toy for sensory development and much more. The toy features a ratchet peek-a-boo leaf that babies can pull and close, a spinning lady bug they can slide back and forth, a spinning rattle ball, and a crinkly peek-a-boo. Best of all, the toy has a musical tapping pad that when my baby taps the snails, she will hear different whimsical sounds.

The crib toy easily swings to the other side and can even be locked above baby’s head to use as a soother. This side features twinkling lights and calming music that can play up to 30 minutes. Additionally, the toy features a white noise sound option instead of lullabies. Much like the mobile, the crib toy can later be removed from the crib for your little one to carry with her and sue as a sit and play toy.

I love Tiny Love’s products because they are perfect for developing babies. I love the ease of putting things together and the simplicity in concept. Yet, these products all have a great deal of detail placed into the construction and design to help parents and children.
