being MVP: Cars Birthday Party in a Box @BirthdayExpress

Cars Birthday Party in a Box @BirthdayExpress

Disclosure: I received the following for review from Celebrate Express. All opinions are my own.

I can't believe that Mason is now 3 years old. Time definitely has flown by and he is a feisty preschooler who has the utmost fascination with cars...all types, of course. So it was natural to throw a "Cars" themed birthday party for him and Birthday Express had spot on decor and favors with their Disney Cars Dream Party in a Box.

Lightening McQueen and his friends are front and centered in the themed decorations and party ware. The table covers and tabletop decorations were easy to set up and the Disney Cars plates and cups brought out the smiles. What I really love about the Party in a Box kits from Birthday Express is that you can customize it even with the recommended included items. So if you need to add or remove certain items, it can be done!

Because of the venue we had Mason's birthday party, they didn't allow any hanging decor so the balloons were perfect (we had to buy weights). The racing flag balloons were a hit and coordinated perfectly with the favor boxes.

Kids just love "goodie bags" and usually will tear into them as soon as they are seated. The Black and White Check Favor Boxes were filled with some fantastic stuff: Gold Trophy, Wheel Yo-Yo, Die-Cast Cars, Disney Cars Bubbles, Racing Bandana, Disney Cars Stickers, Tonka Tattoos and topped with a fun Cars blowout. Mason's friends loved everything and it was great seeing them play.

Birthday Express also had the perfect racing helmets for Mason (and his friends) who sometimes refers to himself as "race car driver". I personalized them with names by using vinyl cut with my Silhouette machine. These bring out your child's imagination both at the party and at home. It was cute watching the kids pretend drive with their helmets on and even getting texts from parents with their child wearing them at home for play!

Overall, it was another successful birthday party with supplies and decor from Birthday Express. Kenzie is now pestering me to start planning her birthday party - - oh boy!

  1. What a great job and great to know you can customize! I haven't planned a birthday party lately, I try to do everything myself for a theme, that is hard!

  2. What a cute idea! Nice that it's all in a box and taken care of. You dont' have to spend time searching for all the matching pieces.

  3. What an awesome party! It's funny reading your blog and watching your kids grow up. I feel like you all are neighbors or something, and I can't believe he's three either! LOL! I love that you can customize the party in a box. This looks like the perfect theme for my nephew's upcoming third birthday. I'm forwarding the link to my sister in law now!
