Maxi Cosi RodiFIX Booster Review @MaxiCosiUSA

Disclosure: I received the RodiFix for review from Maxi Cosi. All opinions are my own.

I can't believe that Kenzie is going to start Kindergarten in just 2 months. It seems like she was a squishy little baby not so long ago. She sees herself as "grown" and since all her friends have been sitting in a booster (with seat belt) for some time, she's been dying for one herself. Since she is still a wee little one (in my eyes and in weight), the Maxi Cosi RodiFix is a great fit.

The RodiFIX Booster is for children 30-120 pounds (up to 57") which is awesome. The design is slim and lightweight which I am a huge fan of. It also has Air Protect Advanced Side Impact Technology to protect your wee one's noggin in case of a crash. The quickly adjustable multi-height headrest and expanding side wings grow with child.

IsoFIX (Built-in retractable rigid LATCH connectors) allows for quick and easy installation. It seriously took me a minute or so to install in the car. No more body contortions to pull and tighten straps to only end up asking Hubs to pull yet again to tighten because of looseness. The front recline allows you to angle the booster to match your car's seat back for the perfect fit. Just place seat belt through the locking shoulder belt guide and clip in. Easy peasy lemon squeezy as Kenzie says.
You can remove the seat fabric for easy cleaning but mom law states keep the seat clean so Mason doesn't get a crummy hand-me-down so Kenzie is usually good about no crumbs on the seat. She also likes that she can climb in herself because the booster is fairly low and clip in (and clip out). I love this seat because it teaches a bit of independence with no more complaints about the belt being too tight and "choking" her while keeping my little princess secure and safe.

  1. I'm in love with it! It looks very comfy, but of course the most important thing is how good it is at keeping your child safe, and then how easy it is to install and use it. This sounds wonderful!!!

  2. What an amazing booster seat. My kids are older now and not in boosters anymore, but I have a ton of young nieces and nephews that could use this soon :)

  3. This looks like such a great booster seat! My son is a big boy for his age and he just can't get comfortable in his current seat. I may have to look into this as a replacement.

  5. It's always something when they graduate to the big kids chair!! It's great to see that you are using one. Too many figure that if they no longer need a car seat, then can just sit in the regular one and that is so scary!! Love the details and wish my driver's seat was that comfy!! :)

  7. Very nice! We are in the market for a new booster since my daughter is outgrowing hers. She is just shy of 30 lbs though (she is 6, but small for her age). I do love the idea of a slim booster. We are always cramped in the back of our Subaru.

  12. I love that the car seat head section adjusts to your child's height. Of course love that can use this up to 120 lbs.

  15. I think that is one of the nicest that I have ever seen. Makes me thankful we never had an issue when my son was growing up eons ago. Things like this sure have improved.
