I love summer. We've been in Florida on vacation visiting my mum for over a week and it's been full of playing at the beach and swimming in the pool. The kids are having a blast and that's the most important goal of a parent. Being in sweltering 90+ degree heat everyday and night means cool, refreshing treats are best and popsicles top our list.

I headed to Sam's Club to pick up some SunnyD and fruit. The 24 ct, 6.75 oz. bottles in Tangy Original Flavor is on Rollback for $5.38 until the first week of August. Score! You can find these on a featured end-cap display in the usual refrigerated section.

I grew up drinking SunnyD so it was nostalgic purchasing this at the Sam's Club right next to my childhood home. What pairs well with this fun drink? Pineapples, of course! The prickly and insanely popular fashion print fruit was ripe and ready to use.

Ingredients
  • 4 - 6.75 oz. bottles of SunnyD
  • Cubed fresh pineapple
Directions

1.  Pour SunnyD into popsicle molds until about halfway full.
2.  Cube fresh pineapple and drop a few pieces into each mold.
3.  Pour SunnyD on top until it reaches the rim.

4.  Place cover on popsicle molds and place in freezer for about 10-15 minutes.
5.  Place popsicle sticks halfway into the molds and let freeze overnight.
6.  Run molds under warm water until popsicles come out.
7.  Enjoy!

Have some fun this summer with these refreshing popsicles. They are super simple to make and your guests will definitely enjoy them and ask for another. I seriously need to make another batch soon because these are being gobbled up by the young and the old. A bit tangy, a bit sweet and a whole lot of fun!
