Blendtec Designer 725 Review + Post-Workout Recovery Drink Recipes

Disclosure: I received the Designer 725 for review from Blendtec. All opinions are my own.

Hubs is quite the gym goer. He diligently gets up around 4 am to get his workouts in before work everyday. I was excited to have him try the Blendtec Designer 725 not only because it is a beauty to look at, but because of its super features.

First of all, the technology on this blender is pretty sweet.  Our exclusive SmartBlend technology senses and identifies potential problems that could interfere with the perfect blend-including loading errors, overheating, or air pockets - and then tells users how to fix them.

It’s made in the USA and has an 8 year warranty!

The clean and modern electronic dashboard offers six preprogrammed custom cycles that start with just one touch: Smoothie, Salsa, Ice Cream, Whole Juice, Hot Soup, and Clean. You can easily blend for additional time to reach your desired consistency. We tested out the smoothie cycle for both of Hubs' favorite post-workout recovery recipes. Who knew it would be so simple to use even with the high tech features?

The BPA-free jar with vented Gripper™ lid is the perfect size for daily use plus it's super easy to clean. The cycle is a wee loud but that's why it's pretty powerful and can blend most anything you task it with. I can't wait to try soups next!
