2014 Holiday Gift Guide | Children's Books Bundle + #Giveaway #HGG

Disclosure: I received 6 books for feature from PR by the Book. All opinions are my own.

You have probably noticed by now that I have a love of books and I want to introduce you to a lovely selection for your kids this holiday season. Books really do take kids on a journey and allows their imaginations to soar.

Angela Meju’s Christmas keepsake and children’s book, Roaming Reindeer,  is a touching tale celebrating teamwork, good manners and the holiday season, and will serve as a fresh, new Christmas tradition for families and classrooms around the country.

The book comes in a keepsake box which includes a Reindeer 1 and Reindeer 2. Children and siblings will keep a close eye to make sure their reindeer stay together until Christmas Eve, when they leave to help Santa deliver presents—until returning next year to keep watch!

Tiffany Papageorge’s award-winning book My Yellow Balloon is a poignant tale of love, loss and letting go, and will serve as a powerful tool for parents, teachers, librarians, and healing professionals. The story is about healing and the transformation within us all that takes place when we bravely, courageously live through our experience of loss.” This book touches my heart as I lost my father at the age of six. I can't imagine how to explain this kind of loss to my kids but this book is just the answer.

Created by internationally renowned children’s book artists Brian Tse and Alice Mak, This is the Greatest Place! teaches children about Chinese architecture, how nature’s influence can be seen around us, and how people and animals can live together in harmony. The illustrations capture the majesty of both the natural world and the Forbidden City and are enhanced by interactive components for readers, including a gatefold spread and lift-flaps. How fun are the illustrations?

Accompanied by a mischievous cat, in This is the Greatest Place!, readers will tour this colossal architectural structure, discovering the secrets hidden inside the palace walls. They will encounter the people who have walked through its halls and gardens, including emperors, empresses, and rebel leaders, and hear exciting tales about the power struggles and intrigues of everyday life.

The Principle Gang series, a collection of six books that shares timeless messages about family, friendship, community and fairness.

What do you think about these books? Do you gift books for the holidays?
