2014 Holiday Gift Guide | Educational Insights #HGG

Disclosure: I received the following to feature from Educational Insights. All opinions are my own.

If you've been a follower of my blog for some time, you will know that I am a huge advocate of educational toys that provide boat loads of fun. Educational Insights is such a company that has a variety of toys and games that are perfect for gifting this holiday season.

My picks for the kids this year are from the 3+ year category:

Watch out! This spiky, smashing, steamrolling Ankylosaurus has rolled onto the scene and threatens to flatten anything in its path. With a studded, segmented tail, a pivoting body, a swiveling head, and snapping jaws, Spike knows that no job is impossible when he’s on the construction site.

This is a super fun and durable toy that Mason will enjoy playing with on the playground. I can only imagine the dinosaur sounds he will make!

Dinosaur Puppet-On-A-Stick™, Set of 3 - $24+

Chomp! Stomp! Roar! Watch out! It’s a trio of prehistoric-era puppets! Join Crusher, Stomper, and Buster on a Jurassic pretend play journey. Simply slide the easy-glide thumb lever or pull the chunky knob on the bottom to open and close their mouths as you animate them in your own puppet shows, circle time, and more.

Kenzie is starting to make up stories and these puppets will be fantastic as she can get elaborate and creative in her storytelling. They are the perfect size for little hands to hold and when you purchase the set, you can share with friends!

Both toys are great for boys and girls and will be a adventurous treat under the tree this year!

  1. My son saw the Dinosaur Puppet on a Stick in the educational insights catalog and added to his Christmas list!

  2. My husband and I are both educators, so our kids ALWAYS get educational toys. They don't know another way! The best thing about these toys is that they're actually really fun, the learning is just a bonus.

  3. I'm with you on the educational toys, and also toys that get kids moving - like that Dino - LOVE IT!

  4. We love toys that are both fun AND educational, especially if the kids don't realize they're learning while playing!

  5. That is seriously cute. My girls love dinosaurs and this would be fun.

  6. We have the ocean version of the puppet on the stick but think my 4 year old would prefer dinos as they're big on his list now!
