Christmas is a beautiful time of year for our family because it is also Kenzie's birthday. I am going to horribly admit that in the years' past, I have focused more on her birthday rather than Christmas because I didn't want that special day to get lost during holiday festivities. However, as she has grown up into a little lady and starting differentiating between the two special days even though they are both celebrated on the same date, it's time for me to step it up and the Hallmark Northpole products are perfect for starting a new tradition.

The Hallmark Northpole Book and Beacon, which is available exclusively at Walmart, is amazing. A simple to follow storybook for young children is accompanied by a durable snowflake that can be personalized with your child's name. Kenzie immediately wanted to write her name (it comes with an additional sticker in case you want to switch names the following year) on her snowflake. She was excited to see that it lit up when you press the button and change colors in order for Santa and his helpers to find her on Christmas Eve. I told her to find a special place to hang her snowflake in order for her to be "found" by Santa.

The Hallmark Northpole Communicator is going to be so much fun starting December 1st. The kids can "dial in" to the Northpole and chat away. Can you believe Kenzie didn't know about the Northpole until now? The only "tradition" we've had thus far for Christmas is to decorate the tree and put out some semblance of cookies/milk.

It's even fun now for the kids to press the button on the Hallmark Northpole Communicator and hear the greeting to come back on the 1st to chat. Mason likes to tote it around and sing into it while Kenzie likes to practice telling Santa everything she wants this year. It's nice to hear her rattle off her list because she adds to it everyday. I'll have to remember the ones that she repeatedly asks for.

Kenzie definitely knows what to expect at Christmas this year and is trying to be a good little girl. The Hallmark Northpole products are a fantastic way to begin a fun tradition for the kids as we are headed into the holiday season. These items from Hallmark are exclusive to Walmart and will be launching in stores on November 1st
