being MVP: 2014 World Vision Gift Catalog + #Giveaway

2014 World Vision Gift Catalog + #Giveaway

Disclosure: I was provided with two items for review. All opinions are my own.

During the holiday season it's so easy to forget about those who are in need during the hustle and bustle. World Vision is near and dear to my heart as my mother has sponsored and donated since I was younger and my in laws have done the same when both kids were born. A child is a gift so why not help those who are in need? The 2014 World Vision Gift Catalog has an array of items to select from in various giving categories.

What's neat is that you will receive a gift for your gift! How amazing is that? Your donations are also tax deductible as well. Choose from a selection of beautiful, handcrafted gifts and your donation will go where it makes the biggest impact.

For a gift of $85, you will receive a gorgeous, adjustable silver cuff bracelet with an intricately laced vine pattern, designed by artisans in Old Delhi, India. This stunning piece is the result of once-mistreated jewelry makers banding together to support their families through fair trade practices.

For a gift of $100, you will receive an artisan multi-colored necklace. Fight human trafficking through this beautiful semi-precious stone and glass bead necklace. Wear this unique, colorful strand long or short, as a bracelet or even a belt.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. They work in nearly 100 countries, serving all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. They provide emergency assistance to children and families affected by natural disasters and civil conflict, work with communities to develop long-term solutions to alleviate poverty, and advocate for justice on behalf of the poor.

One winner will Receive a Silver Vines Cuff or Artisan Multi-colored Necklace!

  3. The first entry asks about products from Nuby so I think that was from a different giveaway. If you want to know what I like from World Vision, it would be the African Soapstone Box :)

  11. We've started the tradition of donating clean water and animals through World Vision in honor of our parents instead of giving Christmas gifts. It's even better when you can find a gift that has a corporate sponsor to match your donation!
