I love candy and I love games. The perfect combination was just released by Big Fish Games with Gummy Drop! It's a candy matching puzzle game that provides loads of entertainment while figuring out the best strategy to keep the journey going.

The game is colorful as most matching games however unique in the sense that you leap from level to level collecting bricks to build buildings as you are traveling through the country. You swipe to match the gummies in rows of 3's. The skill part comes in when you try to cascade more than one row at a time and gain extra points.

You get three lives per level. I was breezing through the first couple of levels until it became a bit more difficult to clear the board. I had to change up my strategy looking ahead at what gummies and bricks to match. This game goes pretty quick which makes it fun.

You can unlock special boosts along the way that will clear more gummies which is pretty neat. The board goes into a frenzy as the lines of gummies explode away. When you run out of lives and cannot move forward to the next level, you have the option of spinning the wheel to gather extra lives. If you don't get lucky on your spin, you can opt to purchase coins to skip the recharging time if you don't have enough banked. 

This is a pretty fun and easy game that even Kenzie can play which is really nice. She doesn't really use any strategy but still clears many rows of gummies with ease. The explosions get her giddy. This is a fun game that the entire family can enjoy. You can even connect with friends on Facebook!
