Disclosure: I received a pair of wings and tutu for review from Just Pretend Kids. All opinions are my own.
Kenzie just loves to dress up and when we went to Pretend City the other week, she found some wings in the dress up box at the performance stage. She was delighted and continued to wear them the entire time. Imagine her surprise when her own set of wings with matching tutu arrived in the mail?
She wanted to immediately put on the wings and tutu and peeled off her princess costume in a hurry. The Pansy Tutu ($29.99) and Purple Wings($12.99) are well made and not flimsy like the ones I used to buy for my own Halloween costumes. A glimpse into my past - a long, long time ago haha. The multiple layers of the tutu give it a fullness that is perfect for everyday play. The satin bow with flower embellishment play on the garden theme. The wings slip on easily with the elastic band and the glitter with furry pouf is a nice touch.
Kenzie is wearing size 4T-5T in the tutu and it fits her perfectly with room to grow. She was flitting and fluttering around and even rushed in while I was mid-shower to tell me she could fly. Guess who had to hurry up to see my fairy fly? What's neat about dress up is that kids's imaginations are unlimited and their creative play is encouraged. Kenzie even wanted to wear her wings and tutu to bed and when I explained that her wings may get crushed, she was crushed a bit and reluctantly complied. Everyday after school is the highlight when she can come home and put on her wings. The perfect life.
Just Pretend Kids offers a fabulous array of wings and tutus along with coordinating accessories as well as dress up costumes. Kenzie is definitely eyeing the Pink Princess costume. Do your children like to dress up? What are some of their favorites?
