being MVP: Best Long Range Video Baby Monitor @motorola

Best Long Range Video Baby Monitor @motorola

Disclosure: I received the MBP33 video monitor from Motorola for review. All opinions are my own.

I spy my wee one sleeping soundly without worry. The Motorola Digital Video Baby Monitor is very easy to install and use. Just mount on the wall with one screw and plug into your outlet. You can also opt to place it on a dresser if you do not want to wall mount. This is the must have monitor if you want long range use. The design is clean and modern and will fit seamlessly into any decor.

The full-color 2.8 inch LCD display provides clear visibility in the day and night. The zoom feature is great when you want to peek in on your child's precious face. One of my favorite features is the room temperature sensor. Living in Southern California means varying temperatures even when the A/C is running all day and night. It's nice to know if Mason is sleeping comfortably or if adjustments need to be made.

Mason sometimes startles during his sleep and I usually have to pat him and whisper for him to go back to sleep. The two-way communication through the built-in microphone allows me to do the same without being in his room. I can also opt to turn on a lullaby which he absolutely loves awake or sleeping!

We used to live in a 2 story home and now currently are in a 3 story home. Since the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor, it is nice to have a monitor that has long range so I can go about doing my activities while Mason naps. If I go beyond the 600 feet range, I am alerted which is great. The sound quality is crisp and clear so I can hear even the slightest of Mason's movements and cries. You also have the option of pairing another camera which is great if you want to monitor two rooms or a playroom. I'd love to get one for Kenzie's room so I can have eagle eyes on both kids.

How do you monitor your sleeping baby? What features do you look for when searching for a baby monitor?

  2. I love this baby monitor. It's so modern and attractive. I don't have kids, but I remember the walkie talkie baby monitor my sister had. It was clunky and hideous!

  3. Baby monitors certainly have come a long way. I remember when baby monitors were ugly, clunky contraptions that had to be hidden they were such eyesores.
