My husband always whips up a juice in the morning after the gym for me to sip on my drive to work. Mason has recently been hogging my juice so I decided to take it up a notch and make it into a nutritious green breakfast smoothie by adding Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder from Ralph's with the usual ingredients. I was surprised to see that each packet included 21 vitamins & minerals, 13g of protein (woohoo for Hubs) and more calcium than a 6 oz cup of yogurt! It is difficult in getting my kids to drink a lot of milk so this is a bonus.

  1. We make smoothies every day usually a couple hours after breakfast. Our favorite is spinach, mango, banana and pineapple with almond milk.

Green smoothies are the ones I am having the hardest time with, but using the Breakfast Essentials and banana will really help. I think it's awesome that your kids drink them too...love the cup!
