being MVP: Baby-BeeHaven Dream Feeder

Baby-BeeHaven Dream Feeder

Disclosure: My cousin received the Dream Feeder from Baby Beehaven for review. All opinions are her own.

Have you ever had one of those experiences where you see a product for the first time and you suddenly realize that it's exactly what you never knew you'd always wanted? Well, that was how I felt when I saw the Dream Feeder ($24.99) from Baby Beehaven. I knew right away that this was exactly what I needed to make my life easier! I just had my third baby, so I have a lot of experience with breastfeeding pillows, but I had never seen one like this before.

With my first two children, I used the large horseshoe shaped breastfeeding pillows that you typically see in stores. These were great for nursing at home. But I needed something more convenient for when we're out and about. With my first baby, we stayed home a lot. Now, with two busy older siblings, this baby has no choice but to tag along on our many outings. We are always on the go, so when I saw the Dream Feeder, which at 6.75 x 2.4 x 6.75, is small enough to take in the car or toss in my diaper bag, I was a bit upset that I hadn't discovered it years ago. This pillow velcros securely to mom's arm with an adjustable strap. The Dream Feeder was a godsend on our recent trip across country. To say that trying to breastfeed on an airplane is uncomfortable is an understatement.

But my new DreamFeeder made things a lot more comfortable for both baby and I. And the soft fabric was gentle enough for her skin. I knew it would be ridiculous to try and pack my huge nursing pillow that I use at home. I knew it would consume my entire suitcase on its own, yet I was considering it while contemplating a week at my in-laws' without it, until I got my new DreamFeeder. My daughter must be going through a growth spurt right now, because it seems that she wants to eat around the clock, so Baby Bee-Haven's Dream Feeder was a must-have for our trip to California.

There is no reason that bottle fed babies couldn't benefit from this product as well. This pillow promotes bonding between parent and infant. I had several other mothers on the plane/ in the airport comment on our new pillow and ask where they could purchase one of their own. With its chic fabric and compact size, the DreamFeeder by Baby Beehaven is the perfect accessory when heading out to a birthday party, a playdate, or to the park, and I don't have to worry about her straining her neck any more. I am always finding myself nursing in the car, and now I don't have to put up with a sore, stiff arm myself either!
