Stokke is the premier brand that is envied by many. People inquire and stare when you roll by with baby sitting pretty. Stylish design combined with modern functionality is ever present in the fabulous Stokke® Scoot™. It is ideal for urban living and perfect for everyday travels.

I am a huge fan of the Stokke® Xplory® however there were a few hassles that could have been improved after using it for a while: fold, quick storage and size. Since I have a smaller SUV and a second child, the Stokke® Scoot™ ($499.99 + free shipping) is a better fit. It can fold down with just one hand in a matter of seconds and compactly fits inside my trunk. It also stands on its own when folded which is great when storing at home (no more having to lean against a wall or propping something against it to keep it from laying flat on the floor). However, the cupholder has to be taken off so that it will stand straight. The storage basket space is spectacular. I can easily walk to the grocery store and load up on bags without having to shove or dangle from the handlebar. It is accessible from all sides of the stroller which is a major plus.

The seat is plush and cradles my kiddos' bums. Both enjoy just sitting in the stroller even when not moving. It's great to have a seat to keep tot safe while I need to get things done. The footrest can be adjusted to fit your child by a quick spring release. The padded seat is high up so Mason can giggle and laugh at me while we stroll. It's also reversible so dependent upon your child's mood, they can face the world or stare into mama's eyes. Just a quick push of the white tabs and lift to flip the seat.

The 5 point safety harness secures your child. I love the large hood. It offers major coverage. You can also unzip the back to allow for extra ventilation in the heat. I like keeping my kids protected from the harmful rays of the sun so the parsasol the perfect accessory. It matches and the kids are entertained by it. What more can you ask for? You can maneuver it to block the direction of the sun and I wish Stokke® would offer a parent parasol to protect me! The recline is a bit different in that there is only a rest position that is accomplished by 2 clips on the back of the seat. This is not an issue for us because Mason can fall asleep easily in active position (or in the car) and I can easily switch to rest position without waking him.

This is a fantastic stroller that will grow with your child and is especially great for someone who wants a luxury compact stroller at a fabulous price.
