Top 5 Milestone Baby Moments to Capture in Photos + Giveaway! #SwaddlersFirsts #DDDivas #sponsored @Pampers

My bestie Rita just had her first baby a couple of months ago and as much as people have given her advice, the journey is one that must be experienced to know the true emotions. Here are some of her precious moments with her baby Krish.

I’ll never forget the first time the nurses handed my son to me and I felt him cuddled up against me.  It’s a moment in my life that I carry with me always.  It was first of many: my first child, my first moment as a mother, and his first moments of life.  Since then each new stage of his life has consisted of a series of “firsts,” which I've anticipated; some more favorably than others.  While I can’t always capture every moment, here are five first moments I've treasured on film.

1.  First bath.  My baby was so small and giving him a bath terrified me so when he got his first one at the hospital I was watched intensely to learn as much as I could.  With that newly learned skill, I’ve come to be a mom who loves giving baths as much as my son loves taking them.  Nothing is refreshing to me than putting him into a fresh clean diaper with his hair combed back and bundling him up for bedtime.  Pampers Swaddlers are Pampers’ softest diaper ever, and while moms have always loved Swaddlers for their newborns, Swaddlers are now available through size 5! Which means, baby can stay in the diaper mom loves throughout her baby’s diapering years.

2.  First time holding hands.  Almost as emotionally moving as the first time I held him was the first time he grasped my finger.  Feeling him reach for us, his parents, and be comforted by holding our hands evoked so much love and excitement that I’ll never forget.  Plus when zoomed in and cropped it makes a great picture to frame for any room.

3. His first smile.  I loved how many different facial expressions my son had and grew to know all of them well: his hungry face, his sleepy face, his pooping in progress face.  The day he smiled back at me was amazing.  His little gummy smile lit up my entire life.

4.  His first time rolling over.  I always knew the day would come when I’d have to return to work and this would mean that I could potentially miss a lot of his firsts in life.  One morning during tummy time, my kiddo rolled over and I screamed in excitement.  I thought maybe he was already half way so I put him again on his tummy only to see him do it again.  Unfortunately my husband only got it on video half way into the roll and we have yet to see him do it again.  Perhaps it was a fluke, but I was there to experience it and I was an overly excited and proud mama.

5.  His first steps.  While I missed the first time he rolled over, I definitely want to be ready for his first steps.  I can’t wait to have my kiddo waddle his little diaper tush over towards me and I’ll be camera ready.

From your baby’s first smile to their first step, Swaddlers can now be there for many more firsts to come! 26. I captured my favorite picture of all time. The day we brought our son home from the hospital my husband decided to take him out of his car seat and snuggle him, they both fell asleep. My little baby was in a fetal position and didn't even make it to daddy's belly button.
