Smiling It Forward with TYLENOL® #SmilingItForward #Sponsored

I have received information and products from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks.

I’m SMILING IT FORWARD™ because children grow up too quickly to not cherish each and every precious moment.

Just last weekend, Kenzie wasn't feeling well and had a fever. It is always heart wrenching to see her sick but even through the throw up and listlessness, she was a trooper. Good thing we had new boxes of TYLENOL® in the cabinet and it was grape flavor. I gently coaxed her to take a dosage and off she and Mason went to grandma's while Hubs and I went out to a dinner meeting. I didn't want to leave her when she was crying out for me and yes I had a moment of bad parenting but I suppose in the big picture of life, we needed to force ourselves to have a bit of adult-only time at least twice a year, if that.

She was curled up and sleeping on the couch when we returned at 10pm while Mason was wide awake jumping on the trampoline and putting on a show for the in-laws. He is my ball of energy! The next morning we had planned on going to Disneyland dependent upon how Kenzie felt. While she was sleeping, I felt her forehead and her fever was gone! When she awoke, she was still weak from not eating but in a chipper mood and was ready to go see Mickey. I was relieved and wanted to make sure she had a fantastic time. Her smiles throughout the day touched my heart (minus the scary Pirates of the Caribbean ride) and I was so happy that the TYLENOL® was so effective. Throughout the day, I smiled to myself when I saw my children happy and playing without a care in the world except where to find the next character.

Waiting in deceptive line to go on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin Ride while Mason naps. She didn't want to do any shooting but once she saw how much fun I was having, she joined in and even scored half my score! Guess she was all better

The makers of TYLENOL® were so inspired by the “feel better” smiles shared organically by moms across the country online that they’ve teamed up with How I Met Your Mother star and mom of two, Alyson Hannigan, to launch the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaignTogether, they hope to set the power of giving in motion, inviting everyone to share smiles of good health to help children in need.

SMILING IT FORWARD™ makes it easy for people to join the movement. By sharing a photo that makes you smile at SmilingItForward.com, TYLENOL® will make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund, helping to ensure a doctor’s visit is always within reach for children in need.

Between September 17, 2013 and January 31, 2014, the makers of TYLENOL® will make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund for every photo approved & shared on SmilingItForward.com, with a minimum donation of $75,000 and maximum donation of $100,000. Restrictions apply. For more information, visit SmilingItForward.com. For information about Children’s Health Fund, visit ChildrensHealthFund.org.

It was so easy uploading my pic and even adding a fun frame and effects to it. In addition to sharing photos at SmilingItForward.com, moms can go on the site to view the TYLENOL®Smile Gallery, learn more about Alyson Hannigan and Children’s Health Fund, and receive tips from leading pediatrician, Dr. Tanya Altmann, about keeping families smiling through cold and flu season.

What are you smiling about?
