DIY Holiday Treats for Preschool Friends + Personalized Label {Tutorial} @OrientalTrading

Disclosure: I received the following items for review from Oriental Trading. All opinions are my own.

It's the holidays and teaching the meaning of giving to others is priority this year with Kenzie now that she is in preschool. We received the materials for review to make the perfect little holiday treats for her classmates from Oriental Trading. I've seen their catalog and ordered from them before but never thought about little gifts until now.

Since there are two classes of her mates, I needed to make a total of 16 treats! That's a lot and if you are on a budget but still want to give, Oriental Trading is the perfect place to look. They have items that you can gift stand alone or little items you can group together to make a special treat. I decided to do a little bucket of treats so that Kenzie could help in the assembly and learn the meaning of gifting during the holidays.

Place an assortment of candy with a rubber duck inside the mini pail. Stick on personalized label and ready to gift!

A nice touch to the small holiday treat for her friends is placing a personalized label so they know who it's from. Using the Silhouette Portrait, I quickly whipped up some labels with Kenzie's name.

Standard Label that comes with the Portrait for download

Open the label you want to use and then place the deer design almost centered. Mark it as no cut.

Add your personalized text and use the fill function to designate the color you want it to be printed. Mark it as no cut.

Duplicate the image to fill the page or just to the number you want. Send to printer and print the image.

Insert the printable silver foil into the Silhouette for cutting and after bypassing print, click cut.

Voila - perfectly professional personalized labels for any occasion! The possibilities are endless.

Check out Oriental Trading for all your party planning and gifting needs. They have so much stuff that you can literally spend hours planning and filling your cart! The prices are beyond reasonable especially when you have to gift so many of your child(ren)'s friends. I also love that they have a project idea section for those who are not quite crafty. I pin so many ideas but only recently have started carrying out projects due to Kenzie's interest in helping out :)
