Christmas Wishes Blog Hop: Origami Owl + Giveaway! #bpopevents

Have you seen the amazing Origami Owl necklaces that are personalized with a locket and an amazing assortment of charms inside? I am excited to work with Lisa Vining in introducing these creative necklaces for the Christmas Wishes Event. I mean, who wouldn't want a piece of jewelry for the holidays? I actually first saw these on a coworker who in turn gifted them to her children's teachers for the holidays. Back then, I really didn't have that in mind but fast forward to now with Kenzie in preschool, I have to think of such things and these Origami Owl necklaces would be perfect!

I decided on the following for my own:

Large Gold Locket with Crystals. I love my bling and the look of mixed metals is so in.

Gold Rolo Chain. I love a bold piece of statement jewelry and since I was going with that theme, the rolo chain fit the bill.

August and December birthstones. Although the boy and girl charms are sweet, I wanted to keep the look a bit of mystery and went with just the simple stones for my children's birthdays.

Piano and Violin charms. Did you know one of my degrees is in piano performance? I also was a part of the university orchestra. Yes I was the epitome of asian stereotypes until the career part kicked in :)

Starfish. I grew up in Florida and now am in California so it just seemed appropriate to include something beachy.

M with Crystals. Again these are for my kiddos. I think of them as my "m&m" so love these charms.

Ice Cream charm. No explanation needed right?

Love charm. This is for my family in general.

Laptop. Had to include this as I enjoy my blog and have grown so much since starting.

The necklace is a story of my life in short. You can choose charms based on pretty much anything you like or want. It is easy to add and change as your life does with just a quick opening of the locket. Kenzie has also claimed this necklace as hers (in the future) and I can just imagine what she would put in it - food and animals would be a must. I think I would also like to add some dangles and a plate. The possibilities are endless and you are sure to create a special, personal gift with an Origami Owl necklace.
