When someone asks me what I want as a gift, I usually cannot come up with something. Usually, when there is something I like and it's reasonable, I'll buy it for myself. So when I found out about the pick UR gift service, I was intrigued. It is a wish list you can create by using a handy bookmarklet (UR button) when you visit a website with products you want as a gift. You can create gift lists for pretty much anyone as well as a wishlist for yourself. Just go onto the pick UR gift website and sign up for an account and you are ready to start picking!

It's a simple concept but oh so addicting. Since the holidays are coming up, I decided to make a wish list for myself. I couldn't help myself and added lovely things and am still constantly adding more. You just go about your online shopping business as usual but instead of placing in cart, you click the UR Button and voila - the product appears in your wish list or any other gift list you have created. What's nifty is that you can easily email it to the recipients and they have all access to each item you love. No more gifts that will be re-gifted or returned with pick UR gift.

Kenzie's birthday (Christmas) is coming up so I created a list for her. Since she is Disney obsessed and calls herself "the princess", I found a few things that she would like. Check it out. You can also put notes below each item when adding so the gift giver can know size and color preference. I'm going to have to go through various websites to add more of what she likes and wants. She is a spoiled little lady but if we can provide, why not (to an extent)? I'm going to have family members make lists of their own and then she can choose what she wants :)

It is beyond easy to create gift lists for any occasion and recipient. It's really easy to email off and have them choose what they want as their gift (this is a reverse wishlist). How neat is it that there are no longer unwanted gifts but you are still giving it a bit of thought as you choose items you want to gift the recipient?

I am getting a bit carried away while adding to my wish list :) I will have to create one for my Hubs because his birthday is coming up and let's just say it's been hit or miss for gifts. My mother is also asking what she should get him - I'll have to get her onto using the pick UR gift site.
