When I was shopping when pregnant with Kenzie, all the bottles with related accessories I purchased in anticipation of her birth, were from Born Free. I admit I purchased solely on looks and purchased over 20+ bottles! Fast forward and I ended up giving all the bottles away because she didn't take any brand of bottles. Therefore, when we received the selection of Born Free products for review, I knew the brand would still rock, just needed my babe to like it.
Mason is a pacifier baby although he has a love/hate relationship with it. He will throw it across the room only to crawl and fetch it to put back into his mouth. The Born Free Bliss Pacifiers are different than those Mason has been using in that they are made of one piece silicone with a handle. This makes for easier washing because I don't have to squeeze the excess water in the nipple out. I didn't even know how to get rid of the water inside until my FB fans told me! The orthodontic nipple design promotes proper tongue placement and encourages correct development of baby teeth. I pushed the pacifier with Mason because I didn't want him to be a thumb sucker like Kenzie. I am so glad that these BPA Free Born Free Bliss pacifiers will not hinder him physically nor developmentally - plus the designs are super cute!
I was excited to try the Born Free training cups with Mason. These feature the same ActiveFlow™ Venting Technology as the baby bottles. Although it may be daunting at first to wash and put together all the parts, after a few times, it becomes a breeze. It's also nice because all Born Free bottles and cups are interchangeable! Mason took to these bottles like a fish. He easily pulls water through the teething-friendly spout and the wide handles allow for ease of hold. These are now one of my favorites for Mason to drink his water in. I'll have to pick up some of the Born Free straw cups for him to try drinking milk out of.
Who uses a microwave sterilizer? I used the Born Free microwave sterilizer (as well as my MIL) until the Tru-Clean™ Sterilizing System arrived. This all in one design is a sterilizer, dishwasher basket and drying rack. You can place nipples, lids, pacifiers and other small accessories inside the dishwasher basket - I even used this basket in the regular dishwasher. The rack holds six bottles which is nice because you can run this everyday once.
You just place almost a cup of water inside and press the on button. You can literally step away and when you return after about 20 minutes, your bottles and accessories are all sterilized of household bacteria and you can rest your worry. This unit takes little counter space plus it looks pretty modern and sleek.
