We went to the Irvine Railroad Park's Pumpkin Patch this past weekend and the kiddos had a blast. It wasn't too crowded so we were able to hit the games and activities without much of a wait. I've never seen Kenzie so excited about pumpkins - she wanted to play with them!
We went into the haunted house and since it was dark and a wee bit spooky, I had to hold Kenzie and she closed her eyes. It was literally 2 minutes to walk through but oh well. Mason had no problems with it and not a single cry. We then hit up the bounce house, game area as well as face painting, after grabbing some cotton candy, of course.
We ran into Kenzie's friend and her mama so we decided to head back to the game area so she could win the same blue dinosaur. We also went on the train ride together and they had so much fun - squealing over every single thing. Mason enjoyed the ride as well and wanted to hop off to explore - brave boy. Since her friend kept talking about the pony ride she went on, Kenzie wanted to go ride. However, when she went on, she started wailing and came off after a minute. Hubs bought her friend another ticket so she happily took another ride.
We couldn't leave without decorating some cookies so Kenzie and Hubs had fun frosting and sprinkling away. The pumpkin patch at the Irvine Railroad Park is a lovely setting to take some great photos. The kiddos were too excited so I only captured a few. We definitely will have to go back!
