I know firsthand at how many diapers a wee baby needs because I purchase them in bulk boxes. I'm neurotic that I like to change diapers quickly upon finding that they are wet/soiled which usually means almost double what I really should be using per day. That being said, I can't imagine not having diapers for my little ones or having to choose between purchasing diapers or food for the family.

Huggies® survey found that 1 in 3 U.S. moms suffer from diaper need. Yes you read that correctly - this is in the United States. The Huggies® Every Little Bottom program is donating diapers to the millions of babies in need through the National Diaper Bank Network. Since 2010, more than 80 million diapers have been donated - fantastic!

I was given the chance to donate diapers to a local diaper bank and I found Share Our Selves near my workplace. Share Our Selves (SOS) is a nationally recognized health center providing high quality, comprehensive safety net services to the Orange County community.  In addition to providing the care for those in need, they provide food and other items such as diapers.

I was surprised to learn that they hand out approximately 250 bags per day of food and other necessities to the local community. When I inquired about diaper donations, I found out that they usually receive about 12 cases of diapers a month and hand out 4 diapers to each person in emergency need. Only 4 diapers - can you imagine not having diapers for your little one? They were grateful to receive the Huggies® Diapers in size 4 because the larger sizes were most needed by the community.

You can help babies with diaper need by visiting Huggies.com/Tester to play games, participate in challenges and enter to win prizes. For each prize entry received, Huggies® Every Little Bottom will donate a diaper!  For those of you who are members of Huggies® Rewards, you can donate points to support the National Diaper Bank Network at Huggies.com/Rewards. I know I usually toss the rewards numbers but now that I have the knowledge that the points are worth diapers to babies in need, I will have to donate my points :)

Make sure to connect with Huggies on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest!
