Coney Island Baby offers unique clothing for babies, toddlers and older children. This boutique brand's vision is to dress wee ones in ideas and the designs are developed such to inspire their minds and play. We received the Fool and Beauty Tees for review from Coney Island Baby and they are just delightful.
The beauty tee for Kenzie is a size 2T and runs large as it fit her perfectly and she usually wears a 3T/4T depending upon the brand. I love the double ruffle detail on the shoulder and Kenzie thinks of these as her little wings. The material is a super soft 100% cotton jersey which washes well. She can easily play while being a fashionista.
Melissa Murray was inspired by Dostoyevsky’s novel, The Idiot, a redemptive tale exploring the ideals of truth, love, and goodness. When those ideals take root in us, the “world” is no longer an abstraction outside of us; it is also each one of us, and may come to depend on any of us.
Mason wears the awesome fool tee with pride. It's a tad large on him as it is size 18m but I can easily roll up the sleeves and he is good to go. I love the velour patches on the elbows as well as the jester hat appliqué. This shirt is truly unisex and does stand out in the crowd. I like the length on this shirt as it can easily be pair with leggings or tucked into shorts/pants. This shirt is also made of 100% jersey cotton which durable for on the move babes.
Don Friesen was inspired by William Shakespeare’s ‘Fool’ in King Lear. Only a Court Jester can tell the King he is acting foolishly, so only the “fool” can make sense when others remain senseless.
Coney Island Baby truly offers one of a kind designs that are fun to wear. These would make lovely gifts for birthdays, the upcoming holidays and other special occasions. Have you seen how fabulous the Brownstone Dress is with the pocket that turns into a purse? Kenzie would so rock it!
