Silhouette Heat Transfer Personalized Shirts {Tutorial} & Promo

Sweet Cupcake Tee

Supplies
2. Cupcake Shape downloaded from Starter Kit
3. Silhouette Hook
4. Tee Shirt

Instructions
The Smooth Heat Transfer Sheet is so simple to use.  Just open the shape you want to cut and flip it so it's in reverse.  You need to do this so that when you transfer the image onto your shirt, it will be right.

Then load up your Silhouette with the shiny side facing down and press cut.  Unload the heat transfer sheet from your Silhouette and slowly peel away the excess revealing your shape.  For the pieces that are too small to pull off by hand, use the handy hook to pick away.  So simple and easy as the material just pulls right off.

Once you have your clean image, please the sheet onto your tee so that you are facing the image the way you want it on the shirt, lay a thin cloth (I started with a towel and it was way too thick) over the image and iron away.  Make sure to press down for a minute or so.  Slowly peel away the clear sheet but if the image is not adhering to your tee, keep ironing until it does.  A sweet and fun tee is made!

Personalized Football Onesie

Supplies
1. Black Smooth Heat Transfer Sheet
2. Helmet Shape downloaded from Starter Kit
3. Silhouette Hook
4. Onesie
5. Alphabet Blocks shape

Instructions
I wanted to utilize the football helmet shape but personalize it with Mason's initials.  I found adorable alphabet blocks for download.  Since the image didn't take up the entire page, I also opened up the basic bicycle shape which I can utilize at a later date for an awesome project.  I flipped the image after ungrouping the letters to spell out MVP, cut the transfer sheet glossy side down and started to iron onto the onesie.

The process was pretty quick once I got the hang of using the heat transfer sheets.  I even cut out the shapes and rearranged on the onesie the way I wanted it to look.  This way you can maximize the usage of the sheets.  Mason seems to love it don't you think?

Neutral Baby Elephant Bunting Blanket

Supplies
1. Yellow Flocked Heat Transfer Sheet
2. Baby Elephant shape
3. Silhouette Hook
4. Organic Cotton Blanket
5. Banners Set of 6 shape

Instructions
The flocked heat transfer is amazing.  You know how you purchase shirts with the fuzzy logo or decal?  You can make your own and it's super simple.  You find your shape and flip as with the smooth heat transfer sheet and load it into the Silhouette to cut with shiny side down.  I chose the baby elephant with small bunting on yellow because it is sweet for any gender baby.  Place your sheet onto the blanket, cover with sheet and press down with iron.

Gently peel off the sheet after you iron and voila - perfect baby shower gift!  It's fantastic and quick to whip up.  There are so many possibilities with this flocked heat transfer sheet and I have many projects to look forward to.  Kenzie has claimed the blanket as her own :)
