Online Shopping through Box Tops for Education Marketplace = Great Rewards #btfe

Since becoming aware of the rewards of Box Tops for Education and the many products that have the little tab to cut out, I was even more amazed that you can earn for your school by shopping online through the Box Tops for Education Marketplace.  I do a lot of online shopping mainly out of convenience and since so many sites offer free shipping, I also save on gas.  The unique part about the Box Tops for Education Marketplace is that over 300 retailers give eBoxTops to your school when you shop online.

The signup process is pretty simple and you choose the school that you want your eBoxTops to go to.  I chose the elementary school that Kenzie may attend in a few years.  I have been eyeing a new lens for my stock camera and have been debating the purchase since it was a bit pricey.  I decided to do a simple search on the Marketplace site and found that Dell had the lens in stock.  The price was the same as I found elsewhere but since I went through the Marketplace link, it automatically calculates your "earnings" for your selected school.  The process was simple as you checkout as your normally would and receive your product in the mail.

After I received my lens (which was a bit of a hassle because they required a signature in person during work hours!), I received an email several days later stating my "earnings".  It's awesome that I earned money for the elementary school while purchasing this lens through the Marketplace.  Each retailer has a different number of eBoxTops that they offer per $10 spent.

Other retailers I often shop at that are in the Marketplace include:  Gap, Disney, Nordstrom, Victoria's Secret, Carter's, Best Buy and Target and so on.     It's awesome to shop through the Marketplace because in addition to interacting with the box tops community, you can see the progress of your school through the years.

I am definitely going to start going through the BTFE Marketplace site to make my purchases and have my eBoxTops automatically go to the school.  If you are going to shop, why not help out a school?

Make sure to connect with Box Tops for Education on Facebook,  Twitter  and YouTube.

BTFE sent me a $100 gift card to use on the BTFE Marketplace site and asked me to write about my shopping experience.

  1. What a great way to give back I will have to see if my son's Montessori school participates, I'm not sure if they do.

  2. I had no idea! I collect box tops for my neighbor as I don't have school age kids right now, but she didn't mention this program. I shop many of the stores you mentioned so this is great!
