Mason's party planning continues with some awesome table decor I received from Via Blossom for review. I have a vision for the head table set up and was delighted to choose some awesome modern party supplies from Via Blossom: Mini Cupcake Stand, milk bottles, elephant kit, balloons and paper straws.
I am planning on having the large 36 inch Sapphire Blue balloons on both sides of the head table rather than a cluster of small balloons. I've seen so many photo shoots with these giant balloons that I would love to see the same effect at the party. I am debating making tassels of some sort but would that be too girly?
I was a wee bit ecstatic about the milk bottles. I have seen countless parties with these lovelies and wanted to incorporate them for Mason. I chose the square plastic milk bottles because although the glass ones are tres chic, the plastic would fare better for the tots at the birthday party. The 8 oz. size is perfect because I can fill it with approximately 6 oz. of milk and leave the top a little open to showcase the amazing striped paper straws. I used my Silhouette Portrait to cut out little M's (should I use a different color cardstock?) and attached with some twine that was held in place with glue dots. I also played around with some washi tape. What do you think?
Since I plan on having some sort of small desserts, the mini cupcake stands and elephant kit will be fabulous. The elephant kit consists of Via Blossom's signature petite cups with adorable elephant toppers. Although I love the idea of truffles, I want to make it as kid friendly as possible so perhaps some petit fours or even mini-cupcakes. I tried to dress up the cupcake stands with washi tape but I may rethink or "rewrap" in a different way. I am thinking some fun coordinating cupcakes to the cake I am planning on ordering. You'll have to wait and see how the final presentation with Via Blossom's products will turn out :)
Via Blossom has so many different party decor products and I really like that you can even shop by party theme. I think Kenzie wants a Princess theme party and the selections are so much fun - vintage glass bottles, polka dot foil paper, paper daisy fans and more. How beautiful are the flower lanterns? They even have adorable decor for baby showers, bridal and wedding showers. Although I'm not throwing my friend's 300 personal baby shower next month at some hotel... if I was, I would be all over the It's a Boy decor.
