I always appreciate a gift of edibles and G.H. Cretors sent me their sampler for review. You know it has to be tasty when their story starts in 1885 and is still going strong in 2013. This pop corn is made the old fashioned way by hand in copper kettles. The sampler of gourmet popcorn includes the following: 6.5oz bag of Chicago Mix, 6.5oz bag of Just the Cheese Corn, 7oz bag of Kettle Corn, 8oz bag of Just the Caramel Corn and 8oz bag of Caramel Nut Crunch.
When opening the first bag of Caramel Corn, the incredibly sweet smell wafted through my nose and I was hooked. I took a handful and popped it into my mouth and was in heaven. I love Just the Caramel Corn and this was muy delicioso. It was sweet and had a slight caramel crunch while being light. Handfuls upon handfuls until the bag was almost empty. I did stop myself because I had to save a bit for Hubs to try right? Caramel Nut Crunch has the yummy caramel corn with whole nuts - yes I said it - whole nuts. Not skimpy, broken niblets of nuts but entire whole nut pieces for those nut lovers out there.
The Kettle Corn is just as good, if not better. I love that G.H. Cretors takes a classic and makes it natural as can be by using fresh creamery butter, natural sweetners, no artificial flavors or colors, brown rice syrup and locally grown non-gmo popcorn. It's also Gluten-free and Kosher for those with dietary restrictions. Yes, you can enjoy this divine popped corn. Just the Cheese is Kenzie's favorite - can you guess why? It has the right amount of Cheddar cheese flavor without leaving your fingers bright orange.
The G.H. Cretors' popcorn is definitely a fantastic snack for mamas...especially when you are so busy you forget to take time to eat something. The sampler is a great way to introduce you mother to this brand before she becomes hooked :)
Buy It: You can purchase the popcorn sampler for $19.98.
