A sense of independence is gained once your baby can start drinking on their own. I was excited to receive Phillips Avent's cups for review for the kiddos. We received the Soft Spout Cup, Fast Flow Spout Cup and Natural Drinking Cup from the Toddler Feeding Line.
Not only is the soft spout really cute and appealing, Mason took to it upon first try. The spout is soft and flexible - kind of like a really flat baby bottle nipple. It features a measurement scale on the cup in case you want to give milk. I tried it out with water as Mason has been a bit hesitant when I give him milk in a bottle rather than straight from the source. He played around with the spout in his mouth and chewed on it and then he started his sucking motion! He loved the spout and grabbed onto the handles himself. The taste of water was probably great too. This BPA free sippy is also one of my favorites because it has an attached lid to keep it clean.
I knew Kenzie couldn't be left out so I let her try the Fast Flow Spout Cup when we went to Disneyland. It features the awesome attached lid as Mason's cup with one handle. Kenzie didn't really grasp onto the handle but rather the cup body itself. She had an easy time drinking out of the spout and kept hydrated. Her favorite is the natural drinking cup for toddlers. She feels like a big girl and I don't have to worry about large spills due to the unique valve. It also has a snap-on lid which is handy when we take this out. The valve is fast flow so she doesn't have to suck like other cups we have tried. The open rim top has a bouncy quality that she liked because when she touched her lips along the rim, the liquid came out with ease. This is the perfect cup to get toddlers to drink milk!
The Phillips Avent toddler line also includes straw cups that we will go buy and try as well as pick up some more of the natural drinking cups for Kenzie and Mason.
Buy It: You can purchase the Soft Spout Cup for $7.99, Fast Flow Spout Cup for $8.99 and Natural Drinking Cup for $6.99.
