I can't believe how quickly my meaty Mason is growing. He has grown up with Tiny Love products and I am excited to introduce you to the Gymini Bouncer.
It is a super colorful seat that gently bounces up and down when your baby moves. The assembly was pretty easy and quick. Batteries are needed for both the vibrating seat (1 C) and the musical crab (3 AAA).
It has two reclining positions and at night, I usually put Mason in the lower position as he can chill and grab onto the included toys: Plush Hippo Rattle, Leaf Teether and Crosby Clip-On Crab. Mason's first favorite was the leaf teether. I couldn't get him to let go so he carried it around with him everywhere! I attached extra loops so we wouldn't accidentally lose it while out and about. I love that the high arches can be pulled apart to easily place baby in and out of the bouncer. There are also several loop placements that you can use to vary the eyesight levels of the toys for your baby. I keep them in the middle right now because Mason likes them right in his sight line. You can also attach other toys to the loops for variety. I may have to take some off his play mat :)
There is an attached harness which clips onto the crotch strap on both sides of the waist. I usually use it when Mason is in the more upright position as he tries to sit up now. I love that the plush pad is machine washable. It hasn't gotten dirty yet but if it does, I can easily pop it in the machine. The crab is just so much fun. There are two options: 15 minutes of continuous music or a baby-activated tap & play. I set it on the continuous music while I hop into the shower and Mason just squeals in joy at it. He tugs on the dangling star and I love the huge clips which allow us to take it along and attach to the carseat and stroller.
One feature that I was a bit hesitant about was the vibrating seat. I thought it would be a bit too strong (for his head) but it is gentle and calms Mason. I think he finds it annoying when Kenzie turns it on and off and on and off - the greatest big sister right? She sticks to him like a third arm. She has even tried out the seat herself despite the limit of 25 lbs - she's 26 lbs. I catch her and immediately tell her to scoot off as she might break it :)
