As you know, I have been a bit more conscious about finding organic and green products for my children and home. Since Mason is becoming so inquisitive in toys and his environment, I was excited to receive a couple of products from BabyBuds for review - Chime Ball and Musical Pull Toy.
The Musical Pull Toy is a large plush flower that when open, features a monkey that you can pull to play music. The sweet melody is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Mason is just amazed at it - so much so that he tries to eat the toy! It is made of organic cotton so I do not have to worry about any toxic materials in Mason's mouth. The combination of cream shades is appealing to both boy and girl babies and nurseries. It is also quite portable so I can just stash it inside the diaper bag for when we go out.
The Chime Ball is a large plush ball that literally "chimes" when you shake it. It's similar to a wind chime in its soothing sound. I rolled it around and Mason tried to catch it. Since he can't quite crawl yet, he became a bit frustrated so I handed him the ball and he promptly studied the tags. Probably making sure it was organic right? Since his fascination for tags is still going strong, I left it on for him to play with. Once he becomes a wee bit mobile, he will have a grand time chasing after it when Kenzie throws it for him. It features a loop so you can attach it to things but I found the velcro a bit weak.
The BabyBuds collection also includes large and small plush toys, rattles, blankies, teethers, spiral toy and musical mobile. These are available at Target - our most frequented store!
