Mason's two bottom teeth have just broken through! He has been trying to gnaw at all things and I get worries at times. I was excited to hand him the Suri Teething Toys from Mayapple Baby. They come in a set of 3: Suri the Octopus, Anchor and Wheel. These are made of 100% food grade silicone; non-toxic and BPA and Phthalates free!
It's easy for Mason to grasp onto Suri and chomp down. There are raised bumps (kind of like barnacles) all around Suri that provide relief. I love how it is a bit curved for easier handling by an infant.
The Anchor is Mason's favorite. There are different textures: along the bottom , points and even a hole at the top where you can connect a linking ring to attach to things. He finds this easy to grasp and can reach the back of his mouth with one side of the anchor. The Wheel isn't loved yet. This one has the most biting surfaces and textures. He just plays with it :) These are one of my favorite baby teethers not only because they are by far the most chic, but because they are safe yet unique.
Mayapple Baby also offers Roving Cove Safe Corner Cushions. I chose coffee color because we have a lot of espresso and beige going on at the home. They are cushy and non-toxic. These are perfect for us because there are so many sharp edges in our new home and I don't want my energetic Kenzie to bump her head or worse. I also want to protect Mason once he starts cruising around. These are easy to use as you stick the 3M double sided tape (included) on the inside and just stick on a corner.
I used them for the random tile corners we have around the house as well as for the dining table and also for the corners on our bed frame. These are so versatile and I love that they come in a huge pack!

ReplyDeleteIt's a family company from Brooklyn NY
ReplyDeleteI learned that they choose reactive dyes (low impact dyes) for fabrics used in their products. Reactive dyes, unlike natural dies, are set without harmful chemical mordents that are washed off in the dying process into our rivers and oceans. In most cases, reactive dyes have considerably lower impact on our environment than natural dyes.
