Kenzie's imagination is beyond amazing. She comes up with the most outrageous scenes and says astonishing things. I am so happy that she can express herself freely and is learning at the same time. Manhattan Toy has developed a series of imagine i CAN kits to allow a child to develop and spread their imagination wings. Kenzie received the Create-A-Puppet Alligator and Finger Paint Fun Kit.
Since Kenzie enjoys craft time, I decided to have her create the alligator. This kit included pre-cut puppet pieces, pre-cut double-sided tape and eyeballs. The instructions were easy to follow as you just match up the tape size to the indicated space on the puppet pieces. Then you connect until the alligator face shape forms. I helped Kenzie with the small pieces of tape but she took all the pieces apart and helped create the alligator.
There are little handles inside the head for little hands to open/close the alligator mouth. Kenzie loves the big tongue inside as well as the snout bumps. This is such a wonderful kit for young ones to create and my goodness, the sound effects Kenzie makes when playing with this is priceless. She enjoys saying "grrrrr" and eating our faces as well as making Mason giggle like crazy when she chomp chomps.
I'm usually a neat freak and have held back on crayons until recently. Since Kenzie has been doing more art projects at school, she was excited to try out the Finger Paint Fun kit which came in a handy reusable storage tin with handle. Inside there were 4 washable paint containers, 3 plastic stampers and 3 plastic scrappers. Guess who was ready to dive in? She had so much fun and I need to buy her some large poster paper so she can fully enjoy the paint. The paint washes off easily with water (thank goodness).
I will definitely have to get Kenzie additional kits as she has and is still enjoying herself :)
