AppStart Learning: iLearn 'N' Play Robbi & Giveaway!

AppStart Learning has meshed together technology with play to motivate early learners.  The iLearn 'N' Play is a magical combination of Apple iOS devices and toys.

Created by a brilliant team of product development experts with a combined 30 years of experience working with cutting edge brands like V Tech Early Learning, Microsoft Actimates, Fisher Price, Uno and Cranium – iLearn ‘N’ Play has successfully integrated iPads, iPhones and iPods with a fun, App-enhanced learning curriculum to make the most revolutionary development in education since the chalkboard.

We received Robbi for use with Apple iPhone &Apple iPod Touch devices.

When Kenzie saw Robbi, she exclaimed "Robot" and wanted to know if it was for her - naturally the mailman only brings her stuff right? I opened it up and quickly downloaded the Numberbots app from iTunes on my Apple iPhone.  After popping in 2 AA batteries, I then opened up Robbi's head and inserted my phone in after linking through Bluetooth.  *Note: I was happy that my phone had a case that is durable when Kenzie is playing with it.  I can't tell you the numerous times she has dropped it, banged it, etc.

I explained to Kenzie that Robbi was a learning toy and since she just loves learning, she was ready to start right away.  Kenzie is really quick at soaking in all things around her - educational and environmental.  It's amazing to me how much of a sponge she is and am really engrossing her in everything that she is interested in since this time period is so precious.  The Numberbots app encourages young children to engage in simple math such as number recognition and addition.

The six different modes including: counting, objects, collecting, missing number, lowest to highest and addition/subtraction.  Since Kenzie already knows her numbers, it's fun to see her applying her knowledge through Robbi.  The counting game was easy for her but she still had fun shouting the numbers out loud and annoying Mason.  The collecting game is also fun for her to play.  I'm glad to have this fun "toy" for Kenzie to learn her math.  We are going to have her ahead of schedule for Kindergarten :)

Other apps will be available through the year and I can't wait for Kenzie to learn with those.  iLearn 'N' Play has two other products with similar capability: Learning Tablet (for use with iPad) and Adventure Explorer (for use with Apple iPad or Apple iPhone/iPod Touch).

Buy It:  You can purchase the Robbi for $29.99 at Target (on sale).

Make sure to connect with iLearn 'N' Play on FacebookTwitter and Youtube!
