Kenzie has a bundle of emotions recently jumping from super happy to sobbing (because she isn't getting her way). She even has certain emotions and facial expressions on cue such as the sad face, angry face and cheesy smile. The WorryWoo Monsters are a collection of plush dolls with a storybook that coordinate with specific emotions. Kenzie received Nola, the Monster of Loneliness which I mainly chose because it was her favorite color - green.
Kenzie's first reaction to Nola was touching the shaggy pink tail and hair. She then wanted to read the book because she absolutely loves reading and storytime. This children's book is beautifully illustrated and easy to follow for young children. Nola's story is about a monster who thinks she is all alone but then discovers she was never alone. It's such a complex emotion that is bundled into a smart storyline for children even as young as 3 years of age to understand.
The plush is the added bonus as Kenzie can play with it alone or cuddle it while reading the story. Nola also has the unique WorryWoo bellybutton which is a big hit with Kenzie. She somehow has a fascination with the belly button and Nola's is just the right size for her tiny finger to push.
The WorryWoo Monster collection explores emotions such as insecurity, confusion, innocence, frustration (I think Kenzie needs this one next!) and of course, worry. These are emotions beyond the simple and the WorryWoos are perfect for your children to learn what they are feeling and experiencing with a wonderful storyline.
