I am a huge fan of Swaddle Designs and their newest Elephant and Chickies Collection is adorable.  I am kind of crushing on the elephant theme for Mason recently and the Ultimate Receiving Blanket in the aqua color arrived just in time for the ever turning weather. 


The Ultimate Receiving Blanket is made of a cotton flannel which is large (42 inch square) for the perfect swaddle.  The instructions are sewn onto the edge of the blanket in case mommy brain forgets.  Yes when Mason was born I had to "re-learn" to swaddle.  The pale gray elephant is darling with the aqua chickie on his trunk.  The blanket is lightweight and breathable yet warm.  This is easily washable by tossing into the machine and drying on low.  The blanket is of fantastic quality because I have some from Kenzie and they still look new! 



I primarily use swaddles as a sunshield and blanket for Mason.  I have used it as a nursing cover and as a backup burp cloth :)  Swaddling blankets are fantastic because of the multipurpose use and Swaddle Designs makes it fun with their fabulous designs.
