Kenzie loves to run and play...non-stop. Therefore, when it's a nice day outside I gear her up in sneakers and off she goes. She outgrew her Pediped Flex Dakota and since they were in fabulous condition, we handed them down to the cleaner's daughter. Kenzie's new kicks are the Flex Venus and guess who was chattering about how these looked just like her school friend's shoes?
The thing I like most about these Pediped shoes are that they feature the Flex Fit System: additional insoles that can be inserted for a snug fit then removed for room as your child's foot grows and can reduce the shoe size by almost half a size. This is perfect for prolonging the wear as essentially it's two shoes in one!
The Flex Venus are lightweight and although they are white with silver accents, do not dirty quickly. I am very impressed as they still look clean after weeks of wear. If and when they do get grimy all I have to do is toss them in the wash. The two velcro straps are easy for Kenzie to put on and take off herself. They are flexible allowing little feet to move around with ease. Kenzie loves her Pedipeds!
We can't leave out my meaty Mason who wants to walk already. He prefers to stand and bounce up and down. He received the Originals Jett and they are perfect for his growing feet. They look like little sneakers with elastic laces and velcro strap for easy wear. Mason is wearing size 6-12 months and he has a little room to grow since he's in the 75 percentile! The all leather sole with a diamond tread makes these perfect for learning to walk. He seemed a bit preoccupied looking down the wishing well but when he saw his reflection in Minnie's mirror he was all sorts of bouncy!
I'm glad that Pediped has selections from birth to children 8 years old because we have many years of shoe buying ahead and I always want to give the best for my kiddos for foot health as well as play. The Flex Amazon looks like a great kids water shoe for the summer at water parks and the beach.
