Monkey Mat & Giveaway!





   
I admit that I'm who doesn't like going barefoot on grass or sitting directly on the sand at the beach.  I can't recall how it came to be that way but it is as it is.  It's odd how Kenzie's first time (and several times after) experiencing sand between her toes at the beach led to her tip toe/pick me up routine.  The Monkey Mat is going to be our savior this coming Spring/Summer because this portable mat provides a clean surface for Kenzie and Mason to play on when we visit parks, beaches and more!


  
I was surprised at how lightweight and compact the Monkey Mat was from first glance.  It arrives in a zippered pouch with an attached clip to attach to your diaper bag, backpack, etc.  When you open the zipper and pull out the mat, it is large - 5' x 5'.  It features weighted corners with loops so you can secure it to the ground.  There are also loops in the center where you can attach toys - this will come in handy once Mason becomes more mobile. 

This play mat is made of the most amazing material - water repellant, machine washable (a must have for any parent) and super silky soft.  This is super lightweight (10oz) that it can easily be toted by a tot.  Kenzie loves this mat and can't wait to use it for picnics and beach days.  Mason had fun grabbing and not letting go.  I am so glad that we now have a clean place for the kiddos to play and relax on.

  16. I love the corner loops on the monkey mat to keep it straight and neat on the grass. I also learned that it is only 10 oz., so it could even work on those multi-day hikes we have planned for the summer!

  26. The corner weights and loops are a HUGE plus, because the mats we currently have tend to shift with the kids, so it really defeats the purpose of trying to put something clean underneath them!
