Imagine Toys: Smile & Winkel Teether

Mason makes a puddle of drool everywhere he goes (or rather is carried).  I think his teeth are itching to poke through his gums.  He is tugging his ear and chewing on his fingers.  Somehow he hasn't taken the traditional teethers I have offered him (same thing with Kenzie).  When we received the Smile & Winkel Teether from Imagine Toys and he immediately grasped it I was delighted!

Mason really has started exploring with his fingers and clutching onto things.  He is also an expert at pounding the dining table and making my cereal bowl fly.  The bright and colorful plastic loops make this teether easy for him to hold and wave around.  His motor skills are being strengthened each and every time he grasps and brings it torward his mouth.  The plastic is pliable so easy for Mason to gnaw on.  It's also PVC and Phthalate Free so rest your worries mamas, this is safe for your little one.

In addition to the visual appeal of this teether, the center holds a polka dot cube that makes a soft rattle sound when the toy is being waved around.  Mason definitely likes this feature and toy in general.  Giggles and smiles abound when playing with it.  You would think all the loops would make cleaning difficult but it is just the opposite - you can just sponge it off with soap and rinse with water and ready for play again.  It's also perfect for putting into the fridge to chill and ease the sore gums.  Kenzie does occasionally try to snatch away this for herself and I have to recover for Mason when she is looking the other way :)

Imagine Toys has an easy to peruse site with the most wonderful selection of toys for every child.  Their clutching toys are great for little ones like Mason and the role play toys are on Kenzie's wishlist.  Check out their sales and free shipping offer for orders $79+.

Buy It:  You can purchase the Smile & Winkel Teether for $14.95.

  9. My friend has a 4 year old son, and she was just telling me that she has bought almost all of the teethers in the store, because he doesn't seem to react to any of them. I'll have to tell her about this one. I like that it's so easy for a baby to grasp and hold.
