Star Bright Books & Giveaway!

Kenzie has really started to enjoy "reading" her books and even trying to read for her brother.  I am a bookaholic and am so thankful that someone has gained my love of books.  Star Bright Books is an independent publishing company with the goal of making "Great Books for Great Kids".  They publish authors from around the globe - you can find books in 20 languages!  Kenzie received the following titles:  Bee My Valentine, A Sweetheart for Valentine and Small Medium Large.

Kenzie immediately gravitated toward the valentine books.  I don't know when she became obsessed with Valentine's Day but she pretends to give flowers, presents and candy to us and exclaims "Happy Valentine's Day!".  It is the cutest thing and I can't wait for her to experience her first Valentine's Day at preschool next year.  I started reading her A Sweetheart for Valentine and she easily followed the storyline.  I love the fun take on the classic Valentine story and the illustrations are colorful and Kenzie was engaged.  I had to read it to her twice at one sitting!

Bee My Valentine was the next children's book we read.  It is a story based on grade school children so I explained to Kenzie that after she completed preschool she was to start grade school.  She was thrilled of the concept but not so much when I asked her if she wanted to go at the moment.  The transition of waking up early in the morning to head to "school" has not been so smooth.  Once she is there I am sure she enjoys herself as she talks about preschool all the time.  The book helped Kenzie understand the commercial Valentine's Day tradition and she definitely wants to hand out Valentine's even more now.

Small Medium Large is my favorite book because you learn about math - my favorite subject!  Kenzie enjoys counting and learning in general.  I really am a lucky mama.  Although she already knows the differences between sizes, weight, etc. the colorful art and easy to follow story made this book a fun read.  The characters are a delight to follow through the pages and Kenzie pointed her fingers to the words to follow along.

Star Bright Books has a wonderful selection of books and the website is easy to maneuver to find whatever you need for children in all age brackets.

Buy It:  You can purchase A Sweetheart for Valentine for $15.95,  Bee My Valentine for $15.95 and Small Medium Large for $19.95.
