Mungi Bands & Giveaway!

Mungi Bands- The Original Magnetically Connectable Silicone Bracelet

My cousin reviewed the Mungi Bands with her daughter, Ashlynn, and here are her thoughts.

My daughter received three packages of Mungi Bands (pronounced moon-gee). These are basically silicone bracelets that have a magnetic 'clasp.' They are extremely versatile and can be used for anything your child can imagine. There are several different styles to choose from on the website www.mungibands.com. We received the 70's, the 50's Pink, and the Dancing Princess.

My daughter was delighted with the cute designs such as butterflies, flowers, bows, princess crowns, etc. The bracelets come in two different sizes and can be combined in any combination you wish. My daughter is using them as rings, earrings, ankelets; she can even connect several to build a necklace or a headband /crown.

The strength of the magnets is perfect, strong enough not to break apart but not so strong that she cannot undo them on her own. She's really into playing doctor lately and she was thrilled when she created a stethescope with her new Mungi Bands.

I am a big fan of anything that encourages creativity, and these bands are completely interchangable. You don't even have to wear them as jewelry; you can even build sculptures with them on a metal surface. The bands are designed for girls, but I think boys might even enjoy them; they have some designs such as pirate skulls, sharks, spider webs, and guitars that would be suitable for either gender. Mungi Bands are perfect for kids to trade with their friends. They come in packs of 3 and sell for $6.99. I love the story behind the creation of Mungi bands; they were invented by a father of three girls. There is no limit to what you can do with these bands. They can become a decoration for a backpack, or combine to form a unique belt. My daughter has so much fun rearranging her mungi bands to match different outfits.

All of her friends love them too. We even decided to use them as party favors! These would be great for teachers to use as a reward for students, or even for a dentist's 'treasure box.' My daughter has been busy playing with these in the car, and they even entertained her during our brunch out at a restaurant. Mungi Bands are appealing for a wide age range, even up through high school.

Buy It:  You can purchase Mungi Bands for $6.99 (Pack of 3).
