DownEast Basics & Giveaway!

 

 

Stylish yet super affordable clothing for women and girls can be found at DownEast Basics.  I love shopping but have slowed down a bit since having the kiddos.  I mostly focus on things for them but now and then I will get myself a little something.  However, with the selection and prices at DownEast Basics, this mama is shopping for herself again! 
 

 

 

Since I still have about 11 pounds to lose, I thought the Intersection Dress would do me justice.  I love the ever trendy chevron print on a knit fabric.  It is easy to pull on and has a relaxed fit.  The elastic waist is ever forgiving and the one button closure at the bust makes it perfect for nursing!  I love that this dress is lined.  I can't tell you how many times I have worn a dress only to find out that it "shows" in the sunlight.  Since the weather has been in the high 90s I didn't really style it like I normally would.  I think this Fall I will rock this dress with some tights and boots.  

 

 

 

  

The Cable Car Dress is actually not as thick as I imagined from the photo.  It's the perfect weight of cotton for Southern California winters.  It is easy to pull on and actually looks like something I would wear in a larger size.  The baby blue color is fresh and the 3/4 sleeves allow for ease of play.  It looks great with a pair of tights as well as leggings - dressed up or down this dress is toddler friendly.

 

You can't beat the prices for the quality at DownEast Basics.  Their selection is constantly being updated (new line every month!) so make sure to check out the site occasionally to get the greatest pieces.  They also offer products for the home.  How cute is the patchwork stuffed bear?
