Baby Brezza: Mealtime Made Super Easy

Had I known about the baby breeza when Kenzie started solids, I would have definitely prepared all her foods fresh.  Although I was a bit skeptical in the beginning that this machine took only one-step to make nutritious baby food, after my first attemp I'm hooked.

I love butternut squash so I attempted to make that.  My MIL picked up one for me and it was tough to cut!  I should have youtube'd how to cut it as I've never bought one before.  The recipe said to cut 1/3 of the butternut squash into small cubes.  I then poured water into the vessel.
The cubes of squash were placed into the brezza bowl and the lid closed shut.   There is the option to Steam and Blend Steam only, Blend only, Reheat and Defrost.  Since the squash was raw, I decided to hit steam and blend for 20 minutes (as stated in the instructions for butternut squash).  After hitting the button I walked away.
The brezza made a whirling noise when it started to blend and Kenzie ran to tell me that it was ready!  I opened the top and saw a perfectly pureed squash with even consistency.  The color was bright and there was steam coming from the fresh made "baby food".
This truly was so simple to make and there are instructions to make all sorts of baby foods.  I am going to have a ball making fresh food that doesn't contain additives or preservatives.  I just need to master the actual cutting/cubing process haha.  I tasted it and the flavor was mild so perfect for introduction to Mason later.  There is a manual blending option so you can make the food chunkier as your tot grows.  The baby brezza has 4 total parts that need to be washed which is easily done in the dishwasher.
I highly recommend the brezza for anyone who has doubts about the complexity of making their own baby food.  There is no fail in using this as you end up with the perfect puree each time!  You don't have to use many different products for steaming and blending.  It's all inclusive and less mess which equals less stress!  The site has awesome baby food recipes categorized by age groups.  I am going to attempt the Drink Your Greens for Kenzie next :)  There is also an additional recipe book you can purchase.

  1. I really want to make our own baby food when our son is old enough. Thanks for the review and showing us what all is out there! :)

  2. I just started making baby food for our son, but it always comes out chunky (and he just spits it out)...I wonder if it's from the texture? Anyway, this looks like a much better device than what I have...I should consider purchasing it.

  3. This looks great! I've always wanted one of these systems and this actually looks more user friendly then the Baby Bullet system. Thanks for sharing :)

  4. Definately looking into this. My baby is 4 1/2 months old and I am going to be making her food.
